About the event
Please join us for a day of fun together celebrating the opening of the King Mtn Community Garden! This event is an open house with a light work party for those eager to move some compost. There will also be a fruit tree pruning demonstration. All are welcome, wether you are a keen gardener, garden curious or garden averse! This is a King Mountain Neighborhood event. We hope neighbors will come hang out. Kids and pets (on leash) are welcome. Bring a picnic lunch and we'll make a day of it!
To arrive by car, take Van Wyck east from Meridian almost to the end of the road to where it will one day connect to James St. The garden is clearly visible on the right (south) side of Van Wyck. Note: James st. does not currently connect through to Van Wyck, despite Google's claims.
