Your King Mountain Board is partnering with Whatcom County Councillors Boyle, Buchanan and Scanlon to host a conversation about how Whatcom County does, and can, serve King Mountain neighbors. This meeting will start with some exciting announcements from your King Mountain Neighborhood Association board, followed by Councillors Boyle, Buchanan and Scanlon sharing about their specific work on County Council including the County budget, the Justice Project (including the jail and mental health facilities) and housing and homelessness in Whatcom County. The heart of the meeting will be a Q&A session moderated by a fellow King Mountain Neighbor. Questions, and any comments necessary for contextualizing questions, will be capped at 2 minutes out of respect for fairness and our collective time. The meeting will end promptly at 7pm. We look forward to seeing you soon and engaging with you!
