About the event
Come on out for a day of fun together, rain or shine! We'll be celebrating the opening of the King Mtn Community Garden with an open house; a light work party for those eager to move some compost; and, a fruit tree pruning demonstration. All are welcome, wether you are a keen gardener, garden curious or garden averse! This is a King Mountain Neighborhood event. Kids and pets (on leash) are welcome. Bring a picnic lunch and we'll make a day of it!
To arrive by car, take Van Wyck east from the Meridian almost to the end/where it will one day connect to James St. The garden is clearly visible on the right (south) side of Van Wyck. Note: James st. does not currently connect through to Van Wyck, despite Google's claims.
